Competitive Salary Our client, one of the UK’s leading contractors, with a turnover of over £40 million known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within the budget, committed to excellence, safety, and innovation within the construction industry is looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Manager. As a Contracts Manager you will oversee all aspects of contract management which involves preparing, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, including agreements, amendments, and renewals, ensuring contracts are aligned with company policies, codes, and standards. Oversee compliance with contractual obligations, including performance milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Report all relevant documentation/updates to the designated Senior Manager. Facilitate positive relationships between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other parties involved in contract negotiations and administration. Oversee the preparation, review, and execution of contracts and maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records. Identify potential risks and issues with contract terms and conditions and develop solutions to reduce/eliminate risks. Check contractors RAMS for approval, tickets records and allocate inductions including approving Benchmarks from contractors. Proactively attend meetings, contributing to the best of your knowledge. Degree/qualifications in Construction/Project Management or related field. 5+ years of experience as Contracts Manager within construction with focus on Design and Build, Fit Out, and Refurbishment projects preferably in the healthcare sector. CSCS, SMSTS & FIRST Aid Site certifications are desirable. Strong knowledge of construction contract law and industry regulations. Skilled in negotiation, organisation, and communication. Proficient in computer skills relevant to the role. The ideal candidate must be eligible to work in the UK with no visa restrictions.
